VEQTRON®

BETTER PATIENT OUTCOME

ICG/NIR fluorescence imaging has become one of the most valuable technologies in minimally invasive surgery. Especially for intra-operative check of visceral perfusion, the visualisation of biliary structures or lymph node mapping.

FLUORESCENCE GUIDED SURGERY

Fluorescence refers to the ability of some atoms and molecules to absorb light at a particular wavelength (of excitation: Ex) and then to emit light of a longer wavelength during a short-lived emission (Em). This means:
As of today, we are still at the beginning of the possibilities for indications with fluorescence. Due to new innovative techniques, such as the hand-held camera, fluorescence will also become more and more important in open oncological surgical techniques, e.g. in the parathyroid gland (autofluorescence).

FOUR DIFFERENT DISPLAY MODES

VEQTRON Imaging System offers four different display modes without any lose of image

Standard White Light Mode

3-CMOS white light image which is used for all standard minimal invasive surgeries

Standard Fluorescence Mode

High-quality fluorescence image for detection of ICG

ISO Fluorescence Mode

Fluorescence and white light imagemerging for intensity tracking of ICG direction of flow

Multi-Display Mode

White Light, FluorescenceGreen, ISO Fluorescence and NIR black-white displayed at the same time with option to choose mode on main display

PRINCIPLE OF ICG

ICG enters circulatory and lymphatic system of human, via serosal, sub-mucosal injection of intravenously injection.
ICG bound with plasma proteins.
After receiving excitatin NIR light of 805-835 nm wavelength, fluorescence signal will be emitted.
